Guwahati: RPF Nabs Four Bangladeshi Women At Kamakhya Railway Station

According to reports, they were younger than 18 and entered Tripura via the Indo-Bangla border. They then traveled by train from Guwahati.

The initial investigation revealed that they had been taken into custody by a Tripura-Guwahati resident. According to TOI, a top RPF official said that they had planned to travel to New Delhi.

Police also found fake Aadhar card and documents from women’s possession after they were questioned.

Reports say that they suspect there may be a human trafficking element to the case, and launched an investigation.
