Government to make Daran one of the most developed districts: Rameswar Teli
MANGALDAI: Thursday, Minister of Labor and Employment, Minister of Oil and Natural Gas Rameswar Teli, in a program held in the auditorium of the Mangaldai District Library, issued a certificate to Darrang’s 750 beneficiaries of different government schemes in different departments. Dr Paramananda Rajbangshi, Congressman Sipajhar, Vice-Chairman of the National Women’s Commission Nilima Devi, Vice-Chairman Darrang Pranab Kumar Sarmah, several senior officers and district heads of various departments attended the meeting.
MoS Rameswar Teli participated in this feature, stating that the Dalan district is an ambitious district and that this district is the focus of development initiatives. He said the prime minister is trying to double the income of farmers and the government plans to set up a bioethanol plant in Dalan where people are employed.
“A mini food park project approved when I was in the Ministry of Food Processing is underway in Dalan. It will provide a range of employment,” MoS said.
He also states that Orang National Park has great potential for ecotourism, and everyone must strive to develop infrastructure to increase tourism. The gas pipeline will arrive in Dalan and people will benefit. “In the near future, we plan to make Dalan one of the most developed districts. Under the Amrit Surover scheme, about 75 ponds will be dug in all districts, which will be implemented in Dalan.” He said.
