"Sycophancy" Posthumous Parliamentary Meeting: Punjab Party Veteran

"Good luck, goodbye": Former Punjab Parliamentary Chief quits the party and Guns Blazing

Sunil Jakhar, senior parliamentary leader and former chief of the Punjab unit, left the party today a few weeks after the leader’s show-cause notice was issued to former Prime Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.

“Goodbye, and good luck, Congress,” Jacquart said in a live video on Facebook after hurting criticism of a former party colleague who led the action against him.

His remarks come when Congressional leaders are meeting in Udaipur in a desperate attempt to put the house down to undertake the BJP.

Last month, a parliamentary disciplinary action recommended that Mr Jakar be suspended from the party for two years and removed from all posts.

The five-member committee is chaired by Senior Leader AK Antony. In addition to Antony, members Tariq Anwar, JP Aggarwal, and G Parameswar attended the meeting on what action to take against Jakhar.
