"Early election?": Arvind Keziwar asks Gujarat BJP leader to meet Prime Minister

As the Gujarat Legislative elections approached, the state’s top BJP leaders today held a two-hour meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Delhi. Swiping the ruling party, Prime Minister Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Keziwar asked if the BJP would dissolve the Gujarat Legislature next week to announce the state’s elections.

“Are BJP planning to announce a new election in Gujarat after the dissolution of the Gujarat Legislature next week? Are they so afraid of AAP?” He said on Twitter in Hindi.

Among those who attended the meeting with the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior were Gujarat Prime Minister Bupendra Patel, State Prime Minister Rajendra Trivedi, and Prime Minister Kuniyil Kailashnasan.

A BJP-controlled parliamentary vote in Gujarat will be held later this year.
