Don’t watch, Rajasthan says about a video of a tailor’s murder

“It’s too scary to watch. Don’t watch the video,” said a top Rajasthan police officer after the murderer filmed the murder of a tailor at his store in Udaipur. Rajasthan’s ADG law and order, Hawaii Singh Ghumaria, also urged the media not to broadcast video because of its highly inflammatory content.

Two people were arrested based on the evidence in the video.

Kanhaiya Lal was in his store in a particularly crowded market in Udaipur when the two men entered this afternoon. A few minutes later, they attacked him with a knife. The murder was filmed. And the murderers also moaned on the camera about how the tailor was killed. The video was posted on social media.

The man expressed his support for social media against Nupur Sharma, a former BJP spokesman who caused international controversy and massive protests in India over her offensive remarks against the Prophet Mohammed.
