District-level yoga competition held at the District Parade Ground in Kajargaon

KOKRAJHAR: In connection with the 8th International Day of Yoga, a district-level yoga competition was held on Monday at the District Parade Ground in Kajargaon. The tournament was officially launched by the additional Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary of Chirang District Ajit Kumar Sharma.

In his inaugural address, Salma welcomed all contestants and urged them to succeed in the competitions chosen for the state-level competitions so that they could win the state-level competitions and bring a reputation to the district.

Partha Pratim Barua, District Election Officer and District Ayushnode Officer, said district-level winners of four categories of competitions will participate in state-level competitions.

The yoga competition was observed and supervised by Dr. Raju Das and Rahul Narzaly, coordinators of the Institute of Yoga and Nutrition Science in Cokrajar. Rahul Narzary encouraged people in all disciplines to stay healthy by practicing yoga daily to stay healthy.
