Dihanam contest held at Nagsankar Natya Bhawan

Jamagrihat: On Sunday, a district-level Dihanam convention was held in Nagsankar Natia Bawan with a one-day program, supported by Arock, a socio-cultural and educational organization in the Nagsankar region. A total of 34 teams from the Biswanas, Sonitopur and Lakinpuru districts participated in a tournament that began in Gosha by the local MLA Padmaha Zarika.

Lochan Bora, Karabi Saikia and Runu Hazarika celebrated this opportunity as judges. The first session was attended by ZPC members from Palak Sarma, BDO Sootea, Hitesh Barua and Nagsankar. Finally, Tezpur’s Manikanchan team won the title of the winning team, and Sootea’s Koustav team and Biswanato’s Mirijuridi Hanam team won the 2nd and 3rd place awards. A total of nine of the best teams have been awarded the prize money. This is a commemorative trophy donated by a family of celebrities in the Nagsanker area. The prize award ceremony was held with Baneswar Bora, chaired by a donor member. Palmeshwar Saikia went through the procedure and Putul Bora explained the purpose.
