Dhubri district convention of Communist Occasion of India held at Khoraghat
BILASIPARA: The tenth district convention of the Communist Occasion of India (CPI), Dhubri district was held at Khoraghat with a daylong programme on Tuesday. On this connection, within the morning, the purple flag of the occasion was hoisted by Kismat Ali whereas Nasir Uddin Ahmed provided floral tribute on the martyrs column.
There after the delegate session was began with the presidium consisting of Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Kismat Ali and Prakash Paul Choudhury within the chair. State Secretary, CPI Munin Mahanta attending the convention as state observer delivered the inaugural speech.
Dayal Paul, district secretary of the occasion, submitted the secretarial report together with accounts of revenue and expenditures. After extended dialogue the assembly accredited the report and the accounts. Thereafter dissolving the outdated committee the assembly fashioned a brand new committee with Mahesh Roy as district secretary, Faizul Hoque and Prakash Paul Choudhury as assistant secretaries.
