SILCHAR: A student who was allegedly Covid-positive, converted the PG resident hostel at Silchar Medical College to an isolation ward. Sources in the SMCH reported that three PG students all of them were females and had developed Covid symptoms, including fever and cough. On Tuesday, one student was positive in a Rapid Antigen test. However, RT PCR results for all three students were negative. It caused confusion. The SMCH authorities made the PG resident hostel an isolation block. On February 10, the last Covid patient left SMCH.
