COVID-19 Vaccination: HarGhar Dastak Campaign Ends in Dibrugarh District

DIBRUGARH: The “Har Ghar Dastak 2.0” campaign, launched on June 6th, aims to provide 100% COVID-19 vaccination in the Dibrugarh district with Assam as a whole and ended on June 27th. To ensure complete COVID-19 vaccination for all eligible beneficiaries. Healthcare workers visited to mobilize qualified beneficiaries to vaccinate and ensure protection.

District Immune Officer Dr. Biswagit Balua reported that a total of 76,345 people in the Dibrugarh district were vaccinated during the campaign. The Department of Health in the Dibrugarh district vaccinated the most people during the HarGhar Dastak period. In the 18+ group, 2,628 received the first dose, 20,030 received the second dose, and 19,976 received prophylactic treatment. In the 15-18 year old group, 6,572 received the first dose and 3,697 received the second dose. In addition to the above, in the age group of 12 to 15 years, 13,936 and 9,506 people received the first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, respectively. Dr. Rajiv Kumar Balua, co-director of health services in the Diblegal district, said the COVID-19 vaccination campaign will continue, and all people will be vaccinated to partner in the fight against COVID-19.
