Bodoland Territorial Council signs memorandum of understanding with Azim Premji University
KOKRAJHAR: The signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) and the University of Azimupremji (APU) will take place on Saturday at the BTR, Bodofa Nwgwr Kokrajhar, BTC Secretariat’s 3rd floor conference hall, chaired by the BTR CEM. In his speech, BTR CEM said, “Our location was a confused area, delaying development activities of all kinds. However, after signing several board-agreements, the situation improved. The education sector must first be developed so that peace and harmony among the people can be seen in the BTR, so today we have signed a memorandum of understanding between the BTR government and the University of Azimpremji (APU). We plan to train school and university teachers. BTR’s ”
The Faculty of Continuing Education and the University Resource Center at Azim Premuji University focus on the development, design and delivery of continuing education programs. The center offers programs in various fields. These include education, development, policy and governance, law, and professional skills. Universities work with BTC to contribute in face-to-face / online mode. This Memorandum paves the way for broader initiatives and collaborations to promote quality universal educational objectives.
