Bodoland Development Fellowship Programme launches at BTC Secretariat

KOKRAJHAR – The CEM (Bodoland Territorial Council) Pramod Boro, launched the Bodoland Territorial Region Development Fellowship Programme on Tuesday, at the BTC Secretariat. This fellowship programme aims to improve institutions, transform programme design and delivery and provide strategic recommendations as well as to invent new ways to innovate.

Bodoland Territorial Council, in cooperation with Transforming Rural India Foundation and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), is implementing this programme. It builds upon the MoU that was signed by TRIF (September 23, 2021) and BTC.

Boro spoke later to reporters and stated that through the fellowship qualified, passionate youths will be inducted who are ready to make a difference for the future of the region. Additionally, this program will offer a valuable and rewarding career opportunity to educated young adults who want to work in public policy or the development of the region.

The BTR government has been taking on several development initiatives over the past 18 months. The vision of a green, peaceful and intelligent Bodoland is what I have launched the ‘BTR Foundation Programme’. It will help to accelerate the goal of comprehensive, sustainable development in the region.
