Guwahati: The Forest Vary Officer of Lakhipur within the Cachar district was arrested by the sleuths of the vigilance and anti-corruption division on Wednesday.

As per the studies, the official had demanded a bribe from an individual for some official work however the individual unwilling to pay the bribe approached the V&AC.

SDGP & Directer V&AC, GP Singh mentioned the accused was caught red-handed with the bribe cash. 

“It might be talked about that on seeing our group the Ranger ran away from his chamber together with bribe cash and was caught at a distance about 1 km from Vary Workplace by V&AC group after a sizzling chase”, he added.
