Assam: Police Nab Cachar College Principal for Violating Protocol during Grade III and Grade IV Exam

According to reports, Nath was taken into custody after the FIR was lodged by the Deputy Commissioner against him.

Rohan Jha was appointed as the deputy commissioner for Cachar. He found several irregularities with the way the examination was administered in the college.

After receiving this information, Dr. Nath was summoned by the deputy commissioner to take charge of the Center.

After noticing the non-compliance of the instructions with exam duties, the DC filed an FIR.

Shortly thereafter, the Cachar Police arrested Nath and took him to the Silchar Sadar Police Station for interrogation. Later, the police took Nath to hospital for routine medical checks.

To fill almost 30,000 Grade III or IV positions in government departments, the Assam Government holds state-wide examinations.
