Assam: LPG transporters’ strike may lead to cylinder shortage in the state Share Guwahati: Assam may soon report a supply shortage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas cylinders (LPG). Some reports claim that the Northeast Packed LPG Transporter Association, (NEPLTA), will strike an indefinitely to protest certain demands which they say have been left unfulfilled. LPG transporters for seven Assam plants will also be closed indefinitely starting Sunday.
