Assam: Guwahati HC grants bail to Cyber Rahman for village head appointment fraud

In particular, the case was previously heard on May 23, and the court granted bail on June 29, after the final hearing. Because of his relief, he was granted bail in all imminent cases against him.

At the beginning of November, civil servants were released on bail for acquiring disproportionate assets worth more than Rs. 100 chlores. CM Vigilance Cell arrested him last August.

Rahman was released on bail in this case because CM Vigilance Cell was unable to file an invoice despite the court giving him 90 days.

However, Rosy Kalita, SP of CM Vigilance Cell, dismissed these allegations, saying he was not late for the invoice.

The 92-page invoice was filed by the Guard on November 23. The court then refuted these allegations, stating that the 90-day period had already been completed on 22 November.

According to Rosy Kalita, the 90-day period was not over because Rahman was arrested on August 24th.
