Assam flood kills 11 more, Amit Shah calls Himanta Sharma
The flood situation in Assam affected more than 470,000 rupees and killed an additional 11 people, with all major rivers in a row.
The state has been hit by catastrophic floods over the past week, affecting 47,72,140 people in 32 of the 36 districts.
The new deaths have killed 82 people in Assam this year from floods and landslides, according to breaking news published by the Assam Department of Disaster Management (ASDMA).
Three new deaths were recorded in Dalan, two in Nagaon, police officers swept away in an attempt to rescue those in distress, and one new death in Kacha, Dibrugarh, Hailakandi, Hojai, Kamlap, and Rakinpur. ..
A total of seven people were reported missing, two each in Udalgri and Kamlap, and one each in Kacha, Daran, and Rakinpur.
