Assam Flood: CM Sharma orders each family staying in relief camp to pay Rs 3,800

He ordered the same during a meeting with the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary through a video conference, where he evaluated the state’s flood situation.

During the meeting, he also asked the administration to establish a “task force” to submit a list of livestock and other damages by August 8 with the aim of clearing compensation by August 15. Instructed.

“The state government will provide 1000 rupees to students whose materials have been damaged by the flood,” he added.

He further argued that the provincial government would begin restoration if the flood conditions improved within a month.

“We need an assessment to see if we need to build a bridge or if it has been affected by the flood,” he vowed.

Finally, he also warned that the list created by DC should not exclude genuinely affected people and should not include non-canonical names.
