Assam CM reacts to ULFA (I) Two death sentences, state says does not need such a bloodbath
He added that the future of those who joined the militant costumes is bleak.
Assam CM further stated that the state needs to follow the path of progress, development and peace. He blamed the case, saying that if the report was true and such an execution actually happened, it would be unfortunate and unnecessary.
He urged ULFA (I) to step forward and participate in the peace process.
However, the Prime Minister declined to comment on whether such activities carried out by ULFA (I) would affect the ongoing peace process between the unit and its intimate factions.
