Assam CM inaugurates first Solar Power Plant in Udalguri district Share It is being built in accordance with the Assam Solar Energy Policy 2017 (Build, Own and Operate) model located at Lalpul district, Udalguri. According to the Assam Power Department the solar plant is estimated to generate at least 5 million units of electricity. Its value is Rs 300 crore. The residents of Udalguri, Sonitpur, and Darrang districts in Assam will reap the benefits of the new power plant.
