Assam: AJP leader allegedly fired at Rakinpuru truck driver

AJP leaders reportedly shot the driver with a licensed gun while the driver was parking a truck carrying broiler feed in Bojinadi’s Godown.

The case was unraveled when the AJP leader had an oral quarrel with the driver in the parking lot. He then took out an authorized gun, first fired live ammunition in the air, and then shot the driver in his chest.

The injured driver was identified as Kumbahal Ali from Barpeta. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be in crisis.

However, the doctor referred him to Assam Medical College Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh and offered better treatment.

So far, there have been no reports of AJP leader arrests.

Previously, a 15-year-old underage girl was allegedly shot and seriously injured in a shocking incident in Assam’s Dibrugarh.
