Assam: 3 Militants of Newly Shaped KULA Group Nabbed In Karbi Anglong

The encounter ensued between police and militants within the Manja space of Karbi Anglong district after the previous reached the spot following inputs concerning the outfit’s actions.

Seeing the police personnel, the militants opened hearth on them following which the Police too retaliated and injured one militant.

Together with two arrested militants, the self-declared chairman named DP Kronjang alias Daniel Teron of the group was additionally nabbed by Assam police.

Apart from this, some weapons and ammunition have been additionally seized.

“The chairman of the militant outfit DP Kronjang alias Daniel Teron, was injured through the encounter. We have now arrested two different leaders of the newly floated militant outfit and recovered arms, ammunition, attire, letter pad, and so forth from the positioning,” Pushpraj Singh, superintendent of police (SP) of Karbi Anglong district was quoted as saying in media stories.

The 2 different arrested militants have been recognized as Sedeng Tungan alias Pronob Timung, and Arak Ejang alias Thengtom Hanse.
