Another Shiv Sena MLA, Dilip Lande joins Assam’s rebel Enato Sinde

Shiv Sena, led by Uddhav Thacke, suffered another setback as another party, the MLA, joined the camp of rebels led by Assam’s Minister Enat Sinde.

A video of MLA Diliplande entering a luxury hotel in Guwahati, where party rebels have been camping for the past few days, was shared by Mr. Cinde’s office on Friday.

With the transfer of Mr. Rande, who represents members of the Chandivali Parliament in Mumbai, the number of Senna MLAs in the rebel camp has increased to 38. However, Cinde claimed support for 55 Shiv Sena MLAs and 40 of the 12 independents.

Cinde, who claims his faction is a “genuine Shiv Sena,” wrote a letter with 37 MLA signatures to State Legislature Vice-Chair Naruhari Jillwar, Governor Bagat Singh Koshary, and Congress. I sent it to my secretary to inform him of his appointment. The leader of the legislature and the leader of Bharat Gogaware as the leader’s whip.

Officials at Mr. Cinde’s office in Mumbai said he was not informed when Mr. Cinde and other rebels would return to Mumbai.
