Anniversary of the Freedom Fighter Swahid Kushar Conwar observed in Salpasar

SARUPATHAR: The 79-year-old death anniversary of the Freedom Fighter Swahid Kushal Konwar was observed at a solemn ceremony held Wednesday on the grounds of Rajuhuwa Bhavan (Community Hall) in Sarupathar, Golaghat district. The program was co-sponsored by the Dhansiri Subdivisional Administration, the Dhansiri Freedom Fighters’ Association, and local citizens.

A flower tribute was paid after lighting a clay lamp on the tomb of a great freedom fighter who put his life in the hands of Britain for the freedom of the country.

Emphasizing the great courage and heroes of Swahid Kushar Conwar, Dansili’s subdivision SDO (citizen) said during the program: However, great contributions to society will live forever. People who work for the country honestly and devotedly are always remembered. Young people must learn lessons from the heroic feats of the Freedom Warrior and develop a strong affiliation with their homeland. ”

Police, civil administration, and locals in the Dansili district offered a flower tribute to the martyr on his death anniversary on Wednesday. Media representatives from SDO (Civil) Dhansiri, Din Chengfa Baruah, top seniors, SDPO Trinayan Bhuyan, and Dhansiri subdivision attended.
