Annesha Borah of Tinsukia takes 4th place in the 2022 HSLC Examination

DOOMDOOMA: Annesha Borah, Doomdooma of Don Bosco High School brought glory to Doomdooma and the entire Tinsukia district by securing a fourth position in the 2022 HSLC exam.

Anesha Bora, the daughter of businessman Chittaranjan Bora, and Baroti Bora, the housewife of Barhapjan Milanbon, secured 594 out of 600 points in all subjects. She scored 100% in mathematics, advanced mathematics, general sciences and social sciences, 98 in English and 96 in Assamese (MIL).

When contacted, Annesha told Sentinel that she was studying for 8-10 hours every day and was aiming to become a doctor in the future. She attributed her success to her parents and her school teacher.

The overall pass rate for the Tinsukia area is 46.09. Of the total of 14,702 candidates who participated in the HSLC exam, 6,776 candidates passed this year in the Tinsukia area. Of these, 1,933 secured the first division, 2,930 secured the second division, and 1,913 secured the third division. Labor Minister Sanjay Kishan congratulated Annesha on the phone for her success.
