Ambaba Timera celebrated in a modest case; knows five little-known facts about it

On June 16, Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah stocked a temporary camp in Sonaram Field and an old prison campus in Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar.

He visited the camp and said that this time the pandemic would not result in Amba Batimera being celebrated with its former glory and fanfare.

The Minister of Tourism of Assam said VIP culture is not allowed this time and everyone is treated the same. VIP and the general public can visit Kamakka Temple together.

Pilgrims are not allowed to drive beyond the front door of Kamakka Temple.

There are no camps on the temple grounds for pilgrims, but camps are set up only for police.

Jayanta Malla Baruah has announced that the VIP culture will be abolished as no cultural events of any kind will be held during Ambubach Mela and no vehicle pass will be provided.
