Amala Paul Reveals Why She Stated No To Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan
Amala Paul, in a current interview with ETimes, opened up about why she refused to be part of Mani Ratnam’s dream challenge Ponniyin Selvan. The actress revealed that when she initially auditioned for the movie, she didn’t get the half. Nonetheless, when Mani Ratnam referred to as her in 2021 and provided her a task within the challenge, she refused to star in it as a result of she was “not within the psychological state to do it.” Amala Paul advised ETimes, “There was a really legitimate purpose for why this has occurred.
