Guwahati: Critically acclaimed actor Adil Hussain starrer Khasi movie “Lorni – The Flaneur” will begin streaming on SonyLIV from September 2.

Written and directed by Wanphrang Okay Diengdoh, the movie was launched in 2019 and showcased at numerous movie festivals, such because the New York Indian Movie Fest 2020, London Indian Movie Pageant 2021 and Ottawa Indian Movie Pageant 2021.

Set in Shillong, the story follows Shem (Hussain), an out-of-work, self-styled detective, whose life takes an attention-grabbing flip when he’s requested to analyze the disappearance of a ‘paila’ – a coral necklace of nice cultural significance for the Khasi folks.
