AAUA alleges corruption in implementation of soil conservation schemes

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of All Assam Unemployed Affiliation (AAUA) has alleged huge corruption whereas implementing varied schemes beneath Lakhimpur Soil Conservation Division.

On this connection, the group has identified two main schemes applied by the Division, named Amtala Riverine Land Safety and Growth Mission with an estimated quantity of Rs 40 lakh and tender worth of Rs. 39.20 lakh, yr 2020-21 and Amtala Riverine Land Safety Mission with estimated price of Rs. 34,64,376.00, tender worth of Rs. 33,95,098.00 yr 2020-21.

Demanding a probe into the alleged corruption within the implementation of those two initiatives, Lakhimpur district unit of AAUA submitted separate memoranda to the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary of the Authorities of Assam. Within the memoranda, the group stated that the Vary Officer involved beneath the Lakhimpur Soil Conservation Division had been working right here for an extended interval, as a consequence of which corruption was happening unabatedly. Below such circumstances, the group demanded the Chief Minister and the Authorities of Assam to provoke professional motion in opposition to the allegedly corrupted officers, staff and contractors by launching a probe on the earliest.
