MANGALDAI: HSLC exam topper Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita has won the top ranks of the HSLC exam in the science stream of AHSEC Assam, bringing glory to the Dalan district.

Dipila in the historic Pothorughat area of ​​the NRDS Junior College Dikshita Saharia also ranked 8th in the Arts Stream HSSLC exam. Another talented student from Milanpur in Mangaldai, Bikiron Nath, also ranked 9th in the HSSLC exam at the Science Stream from the Ramanujan Academy in Nagaon.

Dikshita Saharia has 94 in English, 92 in Assamese, 99 in Logic and Philosophy, 95 in Education, 95 in Geography and 75 in Political Science. She is the daughter of Dilip Saharia, the owner of the broiler farm, and Dipanwita Saharia in the village of Hussain Chuburi near the historic Pothirughat. With the ambition that she will take the UPSC exam, she will be a major in English. In the 2020 HSLC exam, she got 87% from Hussein Chaberi High School.

Another talented student at Mangaldai’s Milanpur, Bikiron Nath, finished 9th with 475 points on the Science Stream HSSLC exam. But he is a student at Ramanujan High School in Nagaon. He secured 88 in English, 97 in Assamese, 96 in physics, 96 in chemistry, 98 in mathematics and 94 in biology. He is the son of Ajay Kumar Nath, a teacher at Bakatpara High School in the Udalgri district, and Ranju Nath, a teacher at Fakirpara LP School in Dalan.
